A new administrator has been appointed to run the city’s Animal Care and Control Division. Amber Myers, former deputy chief at the ACC, has been appointed to lead the division, according to a news release Friday from the Department of Public Safety.

After two years on the job, Teri Kendrick is leaving as the administrator of Indianapolis Animal Care and Control. Carolin Requiz Smith, chief of staff of the city’s Department of Public Safety, confirmed tonight that Kendrick has resigned, effective after Friday, to take another job offer in Indianapolis.
